Sometime between 2012 and 2015 the Lord gave me a vision dream. I saw myself standing on planet earth looking up at the blackened sky. As I looked, I saw what appeared to be a handful of very bright stars scattered horizontally across the night sky. Then something quite remarkable happened, the stars moved with one swift motion into vertical formation. Everything happened so fast and before I could even count them, I found myself awakened. I pondered on this and believed even though I wasn’t able to count them, I knew there weren’t more than the fingers on my two hands.
During the days following my curiosity was heightened and I would find myself peering at the sky wondering when or if I might see this amazing phenomenon one day. I began to search the scriptures for what I might find concerning the stars in the Heavens.
My search took me to the book of Revelation 1:16, 20. “And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.” Verse 20, “The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
Not being a Bible scholar though, and only merely a student of the word, I really wasn’t sure at the time what I was reading. The awareness though of God’s marvelous handiwork and the prophetic mysteries of the Bible became very intriguing to me. I had an awareness of the real awesomeness of his coming back.
In the weeks and months following I took it to prayer. I asked the Lord for understanding of what I saw. I believed it had some significance. I believe I may have shared what I had seen with a few close friends, but other than that I wrote it down and just prayed on it. From time to time, I would visualize it in my mind. Then one Monday night during a regular church prayer meeting, the vision came across my mind again while I knelt at the pew. I asked the Lord again for understanding of what I saw. What does it all mean, Lord? At the end of the evening, we came together for a corporate time of prayer where we all prayed together in unity. My pastor that night began to share how he had been praying and petitioning the Lord to help the people have more boldness to be witnesses for the Lord. As he did the Lord spoke to him to instead pray for the people to be aligned with him, because before they could gain boldness the people’s lives must be in right alignment with him.
I immediately thought of how the stars had moved into vertical alignment. I could see them in my mind and at that moment I had a knowing how God wanted me to pray. Since that time, the Lord has often brought that vision dream back to my attention and I would pray for the church to be aligned in vertical alignment with him in their lives so his will could be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
I have since then stared at many night skies especially when a star would shine extra bight, but I have yet to see the same thing in reality which God showed me. After this I remember hearing reports about blood moons for the first time in my life and a couple eclipses have occurred since then. Tomorrow is April 8th, and if all the predictions take place, then seven of the planets will be aligned and a full eclipse will occur across the United States and world. Of course, when I first heard of this, I became intrigued and also excited, because I feel what I saw in the vision is now coming to pass. God does use the heavenlies to bring awareness of himself. Often when things begin to happen in the natural, they are significantly in alignment with the prophetic word of God and his time clock.
Luke 21:25-26, “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring: Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”
If I was to follow all the reports, social media posts, and hype concerning this event, I would most likely be pulled into some of the craze surrounding it. But because of what I saw in the vision dream I just feel a deep sense of awareness his coming is drawing nearer and our hearts and lives now more than ever need to be aligned with him. I feel if anything, it should be a call to repentance to the world. As they are looking up to become more aware there is a God and, Yes, he is real.
Psalm 19:1, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork.”
To the church I pray it’s a call to the altar and for us to live our lives in repentance every day. Make Psalm 51:10-13, and Psalm 19:12-14 a regular prayer. When will his return be? No man knows the day, nor the hour, but it’s of most importance to live rapture ready every day. Rather than becoming caught up by every wind of doctrine or chasing one prophecy after another, stay grounded in the word of God and deeply root ourselves in him. (Ephesians 4:14, Psalm 119:89)
Luke 21:28, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”
In the days to come the Lord will begin to reveal his plan.
Scripture tells us what can be shaken will be shaken. (Hebrews 12:25-29) Our hope and trust must be in Christ. Heaven and earth will one day pass away, but his word will not pass away. (Matthew 24:35)
2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
It’s time to intercede for the lukewarm to become hot, for our families, cities, and nation. There are yet many hungry souls who are searching for truth. It is time to rise up and be who God has called us to be. There is a harvest to bring in. He has rivers of living water flowing and is ready to pour out his Spirit on his people. We must make sure we are aligned with him. We must humble ourselves and pray and turn from our wicked ways because then he will hear from heaven and heal our land. Yes, we must intercede on behalf of others. The probing question I ask today, is there something in our lives blocking the rivers flow of his Spirit? If so it’s time to get rid of the dam blocking the flow. It’s time to let go of the things which easily beset us. (Hebrews 12:1) Get rid of doubt, fear, disunity, let go of unforgiveness, and bitterness and allow God’s love to pour out his healing oil upon our lives.
It’s time to become vertically aligned with him and shine until Jesus comes. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33) Don’t neglect to put the armor of God on every day. (Ephesians 6:13-20) Don’t let a day go by without spending time with Jesus. Take the time to develop your relationship with him in prayer, reading his word every day, and regular consecrations. Remain faithful to him.
For, scripture says in Romans 9:28, “For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.”
